Hey guys.I set it up to where I have all of the sound from the discord app on my desktop going to the virtual input. I also plugged my android tablet into the mic input on the back of my pc, which is routed to play music into voicemeeter as well.I have it set so that A1 is my headset speakers. That way I can hear both discord and the music coming from my tablet. I do not have my headset mic set up anywhere in voicemeeter. It is not set as an output or input device at all. When I use my mic to talk on discord, or record audio, people can hear any and all sound in voicemeeter. This means that the music I have playing, and the people talking in discord gets played back through my microphone.
My headset mic is plugged into the front mic input on my pc. However, if I make it so the sound does not play through A1 (aka my headset speakers) then the sound also stops playing through the mic.Is there any kind of a fix for this? The type of headset I am using is the Hyperx Cloud Core. It has a speaker/mic jack that is connected to a splitter that separates the jack into green & pink (speaker & mic). Here's my audio setup, you may be able to take something away from this for your own use. I have a Plantronics GameCom 788 USB headset. It (supposedly) has Dolby Surround.
I also use the Line In on the motherboard's soundcard occasionally.Windows Default Sound Device: VoiceMeeter Banana Bus A.Windows Default Recording device: VoiceMeeter Banana Virtual InputStrip A: Line In.Strip B: GameCom MicrophoneStrip C: CABLE-A OutputBUS 0: Voicemeeter OutputBUS 1: nothingBUS 2: network audio going to another machineVirtual BUS 3: VOIP audio (.)Virtual BUS 4: UnusedA1: HeadphonesA2: Cable-A InputA3: Occasionally for monitor speakers (motherboard audio output)(.) VOIP audio is intended as input for Skype, TeamSpeak etc. I open up their respective settings and point their 'Output' to Voicemeeter's Aux or normal outputs, their Input I point at the VOIP Output stream I mentioned for BUS 3. This seems to work well enough and also means that normal audio doesn't go out the VOIP stream unless I set it to do so. It's not particularly complicated, but it works well enough for me and means I can send audio to VOIP and also to another machine through VBAN when required. As you're using your motherboard's microphone to supply music, you could set this up as Strip 0, your headset's mic (if you so wished) could be Strip 1.You could also set up a specific channel for all VOIP audio (discord, in your case), and make sure your Music input doesn't go out to it unless you wished. I hope this helps you out at least somewhat.Regards, Brickviking (aka DrSmokey).
Try thisFirst go into 'Control panel'Then click 'Hardware and Sound'Next click 'Sound'Then go to 'recording'You should see a icon called 'Rec. Playback'Right click on it and click 'Disable'In sound, there isn't any Rec.Playback, I have: Microphone, Line in (currently unavailable), Aux (currently unavailable), Stereo Mix (currently unavailable), Wave (ready), Front Mic (Realtek Disabled), Microphone (Realtek Disabled), CD Audio (Realtek Disabled), Line In (Realtek Disabled) Stereo Mix (Realtek Disabled). So the headset isn't the culprit then so feedbacks not an issue.Would you mind seeing which device Skype is using for the default recording.Just open a message with any person and at the look for a 'Wifi' like bars next to call, video call e.t.cUnder 'adjust microphone settings' what device is selected? Also try Selecting and deselecting 'Automatically adjust microphone settings' as Skype may be boosting the signalyeah its using Microphone (ASUS Xonar DGX Audio Device), i have auto adjust off already. A friend asked me to make a Discord soundboard so here it is;Tested in clean builds of 7/8/8.1/10 64bit.or or (someone broke dropbox) (V2.1.3) (To update from previous version just download and run the installer.)(23.01.17) Appears some people are having issues with crashes.
I have reverted back to the old one until I fix these issues. Sods law. There may be an issue with playing MP3s causing a crash. Only happened on one system so far so please let me know if you also get the issue. If you do I am very sorry:(.Virus scan to prove I'm not doing anything nastyWARNING! I have been told about a couple of 'Resanance soundboards' out there on other sites that have added some nasty stuff.
I have only uploaded it to Dropbox so please be careful and only get it from the links above.I would advise watching the install walkthrough here;(No change 2.9.3)If you get stuck or have a bug then you can also contact me here;I'm more than happy to hear suggestions and requests and 'constructive' criticism. Thanks:)Woo 101,000 downloads, thank you for sharing!. I've been waiting for a soundboard! And having used TS's soundboard, i have a couple suggestions.Integration into discord as a plugin, rather than a standalone program (this would eliminate the need for VB virtual cable, and might give the option for it to NOT require voice activation).a 'button' system would be nice, as it would eliminate the limit of sounds available.
In the AEC industry, there are many of us who do not have full-blown CAD skills. Superintendents, project managers, estimators, and sales staff may all need to create drawings, but rarely own a copy of a program like AutoCAD. More often than not, we end up sketching proposed layouts and details by hand. Not only is this tedious work, but the end product is not easily edited, it's hard to store and distribute, and it doesn't look quite as professional as a digital drawing.Using features contained in Bluebeam Revu, including templates, Sketch Tools, scale calibration, and length and area measurements, we can generate more accurate and professional drawings. Bluebeam revu profiles.
For example, playing my game, i have most of my keyboard assigned to game actions, which limits the amount of sounds available. Also, not being able to use voice activation - due to too much background noise - the keybinds don't work, as they turn into 'push to talk key + assigned sound key'.The idea is awesome, LOVE that someone took the time to work on it, but these were the 1st issues i ran into while testing it in a guild channel.Again, thanks for taking the time! Keep up the good work!:D. Hiya first of all thanks for the feedback:).1)Integration would require them to release a proper API as far as I'm aware none of the community APIs have found the hooks for audio yet ad I'm not smart enough to do what they do:(.
Also the downside is while they're still actively developing it its likely every update they make will break mine so I thought standalone would be preferable until then. Dont get me wrong I'd love to do it but I think it would end up as more downtime for users at the moment. In its current state the only way it can be broken is if they decide to block VBCABLE as an input option. It can be used with push to talk but is more of a pain.
Heck if this gets popular enough maybe discord will make their own or work with me on integrating it.2) A button system(as in buttons to click instead of hotkeys right?) would be fairly easy to do would reduce the amount of usable sounds simultaneously though(I'll add it as an option in the updated UI version).I could look into making the soundboard simulate push to talk whilst a track is playing. Negating the need for the extra button push. (EDIT: Found a way of doing this)Some interesting ideas for me to mull over. Thank you:).

I have a problem that I hope can be fixed. I just recently bought a new computer and I did not have the same issue on the old computer (which was XP). The one I have now is Windows 7 64 bit home premium.
Same headset and everything. Not using a sound card either, just using an integrated one.The problem I am having is this: when talking to someone in Skype, my microphone is somehow picking up any output audio that my headset is receiving. Gta 4 highly compressed 32mb free download for android. For example when I'm playing any game or listening to music and talking to someone, they can hear everything that is happening with crystal clearness. This was not happening on my old computer with the same headset. So I'm guessing it's a Windows 7 thing but I have combed every option and I just don't know what to do.
They say it sounds like I'm not even using a headset at all and people tell me to turn off my speakers and put on my headset all the time when this isn't the case! It's not because my sound is on max either, if I have the sound at 20% they hear it at the exact same level on top of listening to me talk. I have combed tons of forums and even found another thread with the same issue, but it was outdated from 2 years ago and no fixes for Windows 7.I realllly need some help. Any is appreciated.
How To Play Sounds Through Discord Mac
OK, I don't have an example in front of me right now because I'm remembering a computer setup I had years ago.I had a ATI Radeon AIW 9700 Pro video card with a TV turner build into it. I also had a Creative Audigy sound card.
Play Music Through Mic Discord
To record a TV program with audio I had to set the recording part of the sound driver to 'Everything You Hear' or something like that; it's been a LONG time, and I don't remember exactly what the situation was. The TV recording would also have ambient sounds from the room my computer was in unless I unplugged my mic. I suspect you have a similar issue with your sound card, but probably not the same hardware.
That's all I remember. You'll have to take a look at the recording part of your sound card driver and see if you have something similar.
Click to expand.Ok man so what I did was search Realtek in the windows search thing and then clicked on the HD audio manager that popped up. Then I went to advanced Settings in the top right, and hit Seperate all input jacks as independent devices. Then I had to reselect it as my default device and stuff bla bla bla. And then I just right clicked on the Speaker Phone icon in the task bar bottom right, and then hit Recording Devices. I went into the properties of it by right clicking again. Then I raised the Mic volume to 100 (first meter/bar) and then the bass boost to 0.00 DB.Then I put DC Offset, Noise Suppresion and Acoustic echo cancellation on.This reduced my echo in my mic and made me sound alot better, however I had to move the microphone closer to my mouth rather than having it stay above my head like before.
I found a fix! After all this time ( 1 year) that I always had to listen things at minimum so my mates don't hear what I'm looking at, I decided to go on google and search this for the 100th time, and I found myself stumbling upon someone saying that the realtek driver is the problem, and I disabled it, and restarted my pc, I couldn't even hear anything and y mic was not working, enabled it back, and I saw that I have 3 drivers, which was weird, I had realtek, nvidia high definition and I think the standard windows one, and I disabled the nvidia high definition driver, and it's fixed, thank.ing god! It wasn't even that hard, and I've searched for this fix for so long and no one said anything, if you have nvidia driver for sounds, disable it, if you don't disable them one by one, DO NOT UNINSTALL, and see what you get! First, thank you for this post it helped as I have had tons of mic issues ever since I changed my mic using Windows 7. I use Morph Vox pro for gaming and could not get it to work right as it uses a separate driver then the normally audio driver for my Realtek. I tried installing the new audio driver and bam.
Now my speakers do not work. Got the old disc out and loaded the old driver got speakers back. So back to the original problem.
Using the Morph Vox driver I am getting very low volume levels and the Morph Vox sounds scratchy. So I see this post and I go into Realtek and change the setting to 'Separate all input Jacks.' As stated above. Ok, best sound ever in the headset good. Now for the last problem.I have my speaks with a bit of tape on them next to the monitor. Why is that important. So I hit that tape with my hand today and in the headset, I hear it the tape making a crackling sound. Also, others in discord are speaking to me and they are keying my mic when I am open voice comms.
The problem is that when others speak and or there are sounds around my external speakers are feeding into my headset and keying my mic in open comms.exhausting.
